Rajat Gupta convinced me of his integrity and honesty. He is a victim of a witch-hunt. The irony is that his great wealth added to his vulnerability. The author reveals the basic dishonest of prosecutors who pander to populist rage and bitterness. The reader should be enraged---and fearful. But will this be the case? I am doubtful. Read this book and weep. Highly recommended. I feel sympathetic to Mr Gupta as he comes across as a nice and gentle person, however his story is beyond belief. He states innocence, however not only in the original trial but rather also in the appeal against his conviction in court of appeals rejected the arguments, He spends much of the book in giving up the defense, however same defense was found not sufficient by us court of appeals. I feel this is an attempt at revising history to reclaim some reputation. Mr Gupta would have found much more sympathy if he would have accepted his mistakes and have told truthfully all the mistakes that he did may be history would have been less harsh on him that way. Still a sad story nonetheless,.

In contrast to stand-up guy Raj Rajaratnam (i.e. not a rat), Mr. Gupta is a complete and utter phony. As the Vanity Fair article confirms, "Gupta's book shows an alarming lack of regret, an alacrity for finger-pointing, and a stubborn refusal to take responsibility." Don't believe a single word that he says about ANYTHING. Every ex-con has good intentions about helping those he left behind, but really the primary goal is simply to get your life together because you're trying to come back from the dead. Listen, this Gupta Guy ran like a cheetah to get the information in a timely manner on many occasions, not just the GS investment. He wanted to get rich above all else, so he tried to ride The Man's coattails and burned his own ass in the process. It's hard to imagine, but every sentence on every page is a lie. How could someone be so self-unaware and delusional? I can't explain it other than he pretended he was a tough guy at Camp Cupcake who shared a cubicle with "a large, muscular white guy with a shaved head and tattoos on every visible area of skin" yet "professes to remember his time in prison quite fondly." WTF? My first cellie murdered a snitch, had a long knife, and I'm pretty sure I wet my bed that first night. Prison is not a "fond" thing, and if this guy did time in a real joint, he would have been a fondled thing. This dude is clearly manufacturing a narrative as he glides through life with his McKinsey persona still intact. Mr. Gupta, you ruined your life, so get over it and wear your scarlet letter with pride.

I clearly ordered Biology Lab Manual by Vodopich 9th Edition; when I opened the package last year it was 7th edition. I was not able to return it since I badly needed the book. Because its the same publisher & author, only a couple of sentences and pictures are missing. All in all, I was pretty upset. Thank God my professor is nice enough to let it slip. But I sure hope they would send me a replacement. It doesn't feel good buying one thing and receiving a different one.

I didn't realize when I bought this lab manual that it was the custom edition... I didn't see it anywhere in the description, and by the time my class got to one of the labs left out it was too late to replace.The manual is in pretty good condition, though there were a couple of labs filled out in pen. The edges of the pages are worn as is to be expected for a used book. Unfortunately, it wasn't the version I expected.

Pretty good lab book. As I haven't needed a book for any other lab I have done, I don't have anything else to compare it to. However, it does a good job, could be better, of explaining what is going on in the experiments. That, and I had to have it for school. I often wonder, if it wasn't for school, how much of these books would really be sold?

Book is right but came with water damage on the pages -- I have to make scanned copies of the pages, so that's not ideal for a scanner. It is hella cheaper to rent this older edition, than it is to buy the new one or this edition of the manual.

You can only download this book too 2 devices. Both Devices I've attempted to download it too is not compatible. I do not recommend using the Kindle Version of this book.

The book is not in very good condition at all. The front cover is on the verge of falling off and it's very worn down. Unfortunately I won't be able to use it for school and it's too late to reorder one so I'm using a friend's. Overall would not recommend. Thanks

Ms. Ferrari has done it again. Another great older man/younger woman romance read. I really liked the characters. They were interesting, well-developed and have chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written, with a happily ever after. I especially like the extended epilogues. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.In this book we meet Ella Evans and Oliver Paine. Ella and her family lived in the U.K until she turned 18 at that point they all moved to America. Oliver went to their going away party and realized the girl meant for him was leaving him for good. His best friend her brother was going as well but he was loosing her. Now 4 years later he sees her at his title match and knows he will do anything to prove to her that she is his one and only. Ella has had a crush on Oliver for years now at first he never noticed her and then they were leaving. She has followed his career and has saved her money to be at this fight in the U.K. When she sees what happens though she is thinking maybe coming wasn't such a good idea. BOOOOM.Now she back and he stakes his claim.This book has alot of history about London, there are way to many mentions of famous people or movies.The intimate scenes are believable and hot and there are several.The E for the name theme sticks only with Ellas side of the family.The book is quick but full of passion and creativity.So saying they get their HEA is an understatement TEN kids later.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Graham Langridge has been involved with the production of technical blueprints and graphics since 2002. Some were more credible than others.However, after reading Richardson's The Islamic Anti-Christ, I'm stunned at how narrowly culture-bound my viewpoint was. As he points out, the Bible isn't a western European/American story; it's a Middle Eastern story.There I was, seeing the anti-Christ striding around the United Nations in a beautifully tailored suit, with European parentage...and totally ignorant of the fact that over a billion Muslims have their own idea of who the anti-Christ is, and that they are ready to follow him as soon as he appears. Or than Islam has an extensive description of him, and of what he will do, that reads just like the book of Revelation - in reverse.Yes, Muslims believe in Jesus. And that he will return. And that when he does, he will slaughter all the Jews and Christians who fail to convert to Islam! In the Muslim view, Jesus is not the prime player, he is the sidekick of the Mahdi, the new Caliph (or total ruler of the world, uniting the political and religious spheres in a single authority).Richardson isn't speculating here. He quotes from Muslim sources that have been written and accepted as authoritative for many centuries. The Sunni and Shia versions differ only in details; the basic story is the same.Does that mean that the anti-Christ will be Islamic? No. But given the billion or so Muslims in the world; their current movements into all the countries in the world; the astonishing penetration of their influence (Florida just barely managed to pass a law that said the courts could not use Sharia law in making decisions); and that of all the world religions, Islam is the only one in which the powers of the state and of religion are supposed to be united in a single person (the Caliph), and their millennia and a half lethal hatred of Christians, an Islamic anti-Christ certainly makes the most credible candidate.Now, looking only at western-oriented theories just looks ignorant. Having been among the totally ignorant myself (the role of the Islamic Jesus NEVER gets discussed in western media), I felt both silly and enlightened after reading this book. I don't think it's possible to have an intelligent discussion on the subject without it.

Most people don't know what the Qur'an says about Jesus. Most people don't know that Muslims base their beliefs not only on the Qur'an, but also on the Sunna. Richardson writes, "The Sunna interprets the Qur'an. Without the Sunna, the Qur'an cannot be properly understood. In fact, many aspects and practices of the Islamic religion are not even mentioned in the Qur'an but are found only in the Sunna." Hadith literature, the sayings of Muhammad, is part of the Sunna. Richardson says that most of Islamic beliefs about the end times are based on hadith literature.Richardson says, "The rising of the Mahdi is to the majority of Muslims what the return of Jesus is to Christians...tradition states that the Mahdi will descend from the family of Muhammad and will bear Muhammad's name." They believe that Jerusalem will serve as the location of the Mahdi's rule over the earth. "Islamic tradition pictures the Mahdi as joining the army of Muslim warriors carrying black flags. The Mahdi will lead this army to Jerusalem and re-conquer it for Islam. The Muslims will slaughter Jews until very few remain." The Mahdi is a man, not a supernatural being. He is predicted to rule for seven years, then die.There are huge differences between the Bible Jesus and the Qur'an Jesus. Muslims do not believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of humanity. They believe that Allah miraculously delivered Jesus from death and took Him alive to heaven.Muslims believe that when Jesus returns, He will return as a radical Muslim. They believe He will return by descending from heaven somewhere near Damascus after the Mahdi is already on the scene. Jesus will be inferior in rank to the Mahdi. Jesus will make a pilgrimage to Mecca. He will convert many people to Islam and abolish Christianity. Another of Jesus's tasks will be to kill the Muslim Antichrist known as Dajjal and all of Dajjal's followers, of whom most will be Jews.In Islam, after Jesus helps the Mahdi convert the whole world to Islam, He is prophesied to marry, have children, and die nineteen years after marrying."The texts and scholars of Islam teach that all Muslims must strive for global domination at all times, not just wait idly by for the Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus to accomplish it for them.""When Jesus says [in John 16:2] that the day is coming 'when those who murder you will think that they are offering God a service,' it necessitates not only a belief in God but also some sort of religious system whereby the mentality is that killing in the name of God is actually reasonable."Islam is now the fastest growing religion in the world. This is partly due to conversions, but mainly because Muslims have far more children than Christians. It would behoove everyone to learn about Islam from original sources. Richardson's book is a good start.

Satan has done a good job of keeping people looking at a wrong 'final kingdom', thus masking what he was and will be doing in the coming days.Bravo to Joel Richardson for taking the heat and unmasking the end times prophecies.
